• Easy snowflake cards

I absolutely love Stampendous snowflakes, they look so playful and are just perfect for Christmas cards! For this project I used my favourite Snowy Short Stacks and Snowflake Symphony along with a sentiment from Kiddo Snow Globe.

  • Step 1

First I stamped the design in my notebook, played around with it a bit - picked the right snowflake stamps and ink colours. I often like to do that especially when a lot of stamping is involved - I think it helps to create a better designed cards.

  • Step 2

On to stamping: I started by stamping a sentiment. And followed by stamping larger snowflakes, than smaller ones.

  • Step 3

And finally I filled any remaining gaps with the tiniest snowflakes I had. I than erased the pencil marks and ended up having a simple one-layer design.

  • Step 4

I wasn't quite happy with the result so I decided to do some second generation stamping to add some depth to the project and added a few gems here and there to sparkle things up.

  • Step 5

I matted the stamped piece on Coredinations cardstock and adhered to white card base.
