Card using text & celery
I made this card with an embossing folder, Tim Holtz inks, celery ribbon that I dyed to fit the papers, and a metal ribbon slide.
On this card, I inked the folder, then ran it through the Big Shot. I cleaned the folder after with a baby wipe.
Here, I'm getting ready to dye the celery ribbon. I used Tim Holtz distress inks in Peacock Feathers, Mowed Lawn, Festive Berries, and Evergreen Bough. I used 2 sponges to alternate the colors.
Here, the ribbon is just about completed. Just a little bit of the celery color shows on the end.
When you compare these cards, you can see the different techniques I used on the text. The one on the left is where I inked the folder before I embossed it. The one on the right, I embossed, then inked.
